Podcast Editing Built for Dallas B2B Brands

Dallas-Fort Worth is home to a large and growing concentration of B2B companies, AI Native companies, Tech founders, SaaS teams, PE-backed businesses, and corporate executives across the DFW area are using podcasts to build authority, reach buyers, and generate consistent pipeline activity.

The challenge is rarely the recording. It is everything that happens after.

Most Dallas-based B2B teams publish an episode and move on. The content sits on a podcast host while the LinkedIn feeds of target buyers stay untouched. The clips that should be reaching procurement teams, investors, and decision-makers never get made.

Komet closes that gap. We take your raw podcast recordings and produce the full output: edited episodes, short-form clips, captions, branding, and distribution — delivered on a repeatable weekly schedule. Our service is entirely remote. Dallas clients send recordings and receive finished, platform-ready content.

What Podcast Editing From Komet Includes

Komet's podcast editing service is not file cleanup. It is the full production layer that turns a raw recording into a published episode and a set of short-form clips ready to reach buyers across LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.

Episode editing

We edit your long-form episode end to end — removing filler, balancing audio levels, adding intro and outro elements, and delivering a final file ready for your podcast host. Video podcast versions include caption overlays, brand elements, and a formatted video thumbnail.

Short-form clip production

We cut each episode into short-form clips calibrated for B2B audiences. Every clip is captioned, branded, and delivered in portrait and landscape formats. These clips are built to run as organic content and as paid social advertising assets. See real examples of B2B podcast video clips to understand the format.

Captions and post copy

We write platform-specific captions and post copy for every clip. Hooks are written for LinkedIn and short-form audiences. See our B2B hook framework for the approach we apply across every clip opening.

Distribution

We distribute your episode and clips to LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook on a scheduled weekly cadence. You approve batches before anything goes live.

Two Starting Points for Dallas Clients

You already have a podcast

You send recordings. We handle editing, clip production, captioning, and distribution. If you have an existing back catalogue that was published once and forgotten, we can work through that too. The podcast-to-content-engine system is built for teams that have content sitting idle.

For a deeper look at how the conversion from long-form recording to short-form clip works, see our guide on repurposing your podcast into short-form video clips.

You do not have a podcast yet

Komet can help you launch one from scratch. We research your niche, write episode frameworks and scripts, support your recording setup, and manage all production and distribution from the first episode. If you need to configure a remote recording environment, our equipment and recording setup guide covers what you need to produce clean audio and video from a Dallas office or home setup.

See the full podcast service page for a complete breakdown of what the Komet podcast system covers from launch through weekly distribution.

What You Receive Each Month

A standard podcast editing engagement for a Dallas-based B2B client includes:

Edited long-form episode (audio and/or video)

8 to 12 short-form clips per episode

Platform captions and post copy for every clip

Portrait and landscape formats for all clips

Episode cover art and branded thumbnails using your podcast branding kit

Weekly distribution to LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and secondary platforms

Batched delivery for client review before each publish cycle

Why Remote-First Works for DFW Teams

Komet is remote-first by design. Dallas clients do not coordinate in-person production schedules or travel to a studio. You record in your office or preferred environment, send the files, and receive finished content.

Most B2B founders and executives produce better, more natural content in a space they know than in a studio they visit once a month. The remote model removes friction from the entire production cycle and keeps the content cadence consistent week to week.

Turnaround from raw recording to first clip draft is typically three to five business days. For guidance on setting up a home or office recording environment that produces broadcast-quality input, see our remote podcast setup guide.

For a look at how micro-clips and short segments from long-form recordings perform as distribution content, see our guide on making engaging micro-clips from podcast recordings.

We love the work. We have gone “viral”. With over 750,000+ views on one of the shorts.

Before we would only have about a few hundred views if that.

We have over 600 new subscribers, and this has impressed our investors and board .

I have loved working with Komet Media on my podcast.

It's honestly the only way I can imagine doing this type of content and being able to not just create a show that goes out into Spotify and Apple, but be able to create a web of content that comes off of that every single week that I can post across social media and deliver that content to my audience.

I would highly recommend if you are looking to use video content across your different channels and across different mediums that you would check out Komet media to be able to do that for you and your business.

You all are AWESOME. We were testing multiple vendors this first month to see what the output was like. You knocked it out of the park! Design, timing, responsiveness! Thank you :)

Most podcast editors don’t take the time to understand the content. You basically have to hand hold them through the edit. We were not looking for another editing agency who would keep asking us what to clip or what’s important. That’s exactly why we went with the Komet Media team.

They took ownership of the project, took the time to research and understand the content, basically bringing a lot of value to the table. They've done great work with our L&D Cafe podcast & MochaSips podcast.

For us personally, they've made it easy to consistently churn out podcasts because we know we just have to send it to them and they'll take care of everything else.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Komet have a local studio or team in Dallas?

No. Komet is a remote-first podcast editing agency. Dallas clients record locally and send files. We handle all editing, clip production, captioning, and distribution remotely. This removes in-person scheduling friction and keeps turnaround times consistent.

What recording formats do you accept?

We work with video files (MP4, MOV) and audio files (WAV, MP3, AIFF) from any standard recording platform — Riverside, Squadcast, Zoom, local DAW exports, or direct camera recordings. The cleaner the input, the better the final output.

How many clips do we receive per episode?

A standard engagement produces 8 to 12 short-form clips per episode, depending on episode length and the density of strong clip moments. Each clip is captioned, branded, and formatted in both portrait and landscape.

Can you handle our existing back catalogue?

Yes. If you have published episodes that did not receive full clip and distribution treatment, we can work through the back catalogue as part of the engagement scope.

What does onboarding look like for a Dallas-based client?

Onboarding is done remotely via async review. We review your existing podcast setup, recordings, brand assets, target audience, and distribution goals. Profile and branding elements are updated if needed, then the first production cycle begins. Full details are covered in our FAQ page.

What is the typical investment?

Komet's podcast editing engagements are structured as monthly retainers ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 per month depending on episode volume, clip output scope, and whether distribution is included.
