How to Create Voice Clone in Descript

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on How to Create & Use Voice Clone in Descript:

1. Click on ‘AI Speakers’ on the left sidebar of the screen.
2. Click on ‘+ New Speaker’.
3. Enter a name for your AI speaker and click on ‘Confirm’. 
4. Click ‘Record’ to record yourself reading the script.
5. You can either ‘Re-record’ or ‘Submit’ your recording, 
6. This is how AI Speaker will create the Voice Clone.
7. Open your audio/ video project or create a new one.
8. Assign the newly created voice clone to your project.
9. Use a script on which you want to apply your voice clone.
10. Click on Play button, Descript will convert the text to speech, and you can listen to your voice clone reading the script.
