How to fade audio in After Effects

1. Click arrow to open properties of the layer containing the Audio
2. Move playhead to where you want the fade to begin
3. Click watch icon beside the Audio Levels property to place keyframe at the current timecode
4. Reduce the Audio Level using the slider until the Waveform representation bottoms out and Click the watch icon to place another keyframe.
